BRAMHANA PATNI'S PATI VRATA DHARMA UPDESHA TO PARVATHI DEVI
pativrata naari destroys many paaparaashi. vishesh poojaneeya. One who sees Paramatma , Antargata in Pati and does seva, she enjoys all types of bhoga on earth and reaches moksha. Savitri, Lopamudra, Arundhati, Shandili, Shataroopa, Anasooya, Lakshmi, Swadha, Sathi, Sangya, Sumathi, Shraddha, Mena, Swaha .. all these sadhvi strees are known for paativratya. There are many more.
One who is in paativratya dharma, she will take food only after pati has taken food. When Pati is standing, saadhvi stree also stands, sadhvi stree every day sleeps after pati sleeps and wakes up before he gets up. Abandoning cchall and kapat , she does only what is hita to pati.
Saadhvi stree comes before pati drishti only when she has adorned herself with vastra and abooshana. If pati has gone to out station for some work, then she will not do shringara. Pati vrata stree never takes the name of her husband. Even is pati uses katu vachana, harsh words , she will not reply back in harsh tone. If pati calls, leaving all the household work she will immediately run to him and with folded hands and head bowed down, full of love, asks .. " naath ! for what purpose have you called this daasi. Kindly instruct what seva to be done and thus i be blessed ". Then whatever order pati has made with prasanna hrudaya, carry it out.
She should not stand on the main door of the house for long period. She will not visit others' house. After knowing some thing very secretive, she will never reveal it to others. With out instruction also she will arrange all pooja samagri for pati and wait for right time to do hita sadhana.
With out taking permission of pati, she will not go to any theertha yatra. She keeps away from crowded place, malls, fairs and utsavas.
Desirous of theertha yatra phala, she will partake paadodaka of pati. For her all theertha and kshtra are in pati padhodaka .. na sashayah !
Pati vrata naari treats pati's ucchishta as param priya bhojana and maha prasada. Without keeping aside anna bhaaga for devata, pitru, athithi, sevaka varga, gou, bhikshu samudaay, she will not partake bhojan.
Pativrata stree will take extra care of household samagri, use it with descrition and care. Kushal in gruha kaarya, sadaa prasanna and less expenditure.
Without pati aagnya upvas , vrata should not be done. This doesnt give any phala and she becomes naraka gaamini.
If pati is sitting sukha poorvaka in kreeda , vinoda, manoranjan etc, in such situation, even if some urgent work has come, she should not disturb him. If pati has become napunsaka or has fallen in durgati, has become rogi, or has aged, is sikhi or dukhi etc , in whatever state of mind he is, naar should not do pati ullanghan.
Three days rajaswala, she should stay away from pati and after shuddhi snana, she should first see face of pati and not anyone else. If that is not possible, she should do chintana of pati in her mind and take bath and have first darshana of surya.
To increase the aayu of pati, she should annoint, haldi, roli (alta) , sindoor, kajal. Choli (blouse), pan, mangala dravya (scent, mirror, comb,mangalasootra, bed , bedsheet), kesha sajja (jade or pleated hair), bangles, earrings .. one should NOT keep away from these.
One should not befriend washer woman, maids, prostitutes, sanyasini (lady sanyaasi) and unfortunate women. One should not honour or man who hates their spouse,
She should not stand alone anywhere. She should not take bath fully undressed. One should not sit on okhli (grinder), moosala , jhaadu, sill , sieve , choukat (gadapa, hostulu). Except while mating, she shoud not over power (dhrushta) pati.
In whichever subject matter pati has interest, she should take personal interest in it and loves it. Always explore or think in terms towards the interest of pati.
When pati is happy, she becomes happy. When pati is in visaada, she too exhibits vishaada and strives hard to maintain such behaviour, by which she becomes dearer to pati.
Punyatma pativrata stree remains the same in sampatti and vipatti for pati, never brings vikaara in her mind. Always maintains dhairya.
When the supply of ghee, salt, oil etc exhausts in the house, even then she will not complain such commodity is not available in the house. She should not put pati in awkward and embarrassing situation at any cost.
For pativrata stree, Vishnu aaradhana is antargata pati only.
One who does vrat upavas niyam paalana without pati aagnya, she will reduce the longevity of husband,
One who gives back kattora answer using harsh words in anger, she is reborn as a dog in a small village OR becomes a wolf in a nirjana vana. Pativrata stree never sits on a higher seat than pati. She never goes near dusht purusha. Never talk in udaaseen way to pati. Never criticises him. She abandons kalaha ie fight , arguement. she neither talks loudly or laughs loudly when gurujan are present.
Seeing pati coming from outside, she rushes towards the door with love and immediately arranges for anna, jala, bhojana paana , vastra and speaking sweetly, she presses his legs and makes effort to divert his attension from tensions and tries to keep him happy. When she succeeds in satisfying him, she feels as if she has gained three worlds.
Pita, brother and son can give only limited happiness, it is only pati who gives unlimited happiness (MOKSHA). tHUS ONE SHOULD DO AADAR SATKAAR POOJS OF PATI. Pati is devata, pati is the only guru, pati is the dharma, theertha, vrata. Thus leaving everything one should do pati aaradhana.
One with durbuddhi leaves pati and stays alone, she is born as oolooki bird (ullu). One who eyes other men secretly looks at them, one who eats sweets alone without giving to pati, she is born as pig or goat which eat its own excreta! One who calls pati in ekavachana, she becomes dumb. One who becomes jealous of other wives of husband, she becomes unfortunate. One who cheats pati, she becomes blind by one eye and her face becomes crucked in the next life and is born ugly. Just as a dead body becomes apavitra immediately, without pati a woman is apavitra even after takng bath 100 times.
In this world, that mother is great, that father is great, that husband is blessed where pativrata stree resides. Owing to pativrata's punya, three generatons of father, mother and husband kula reach swarga loka. But one who gets her sheela bhanga , all 3 generations of mata, pita, pati ges to naraka. Whereever pativrata stree walks that land becomes paavana ( DONT ACCEPT KT UNKLE'S INVITATION TO DO PAAVAN OF MLETCHA DESHA ).
Surya, Chandra and bhoota vayu also touch pativrata to make themselves pavitra. Even the rivers want to touch pativrata.
Bharya is the root of grihastaashrama.
Bharya is the root of sukha.
Bharya alone aids dharma phala praapti.
Bharya does santaana vruddhi.
There are many women in many househols who are extremely proud of their roop lavanya. But pati vrata stree one gets as bharya only by VISHNU BHAKTI.
Bharya helps ihaloka and paraloka jaya praapti.
Bharyaheena is ineligible for deva yagnya, atthithi yagnya, pitru yagnya. Infact, he is only gruhasta if he has pativrata stree . Other women turns a man into only a bhogyavastu (edible object) just like ageing process (jaraavastha) and raakshasi.
Just like ganga snana makes shareer pavitra, so also pativrata stree darshana does paavana.
PAti and pativrata stree are poojaneeya.
Pati is pranava, naari is veda rucha ( vedik hymn).
Pati is tapa, stree is kshama.
Naari is satkarma, pati is the phala.
Naari is Lakshmi, Pati is Narayana.
Both are DAMPATI !
